Well the new year is just around the corner, and for a couple of special little girls, it means some big changes! My darling little nieces, Abigail & Brianna, will be starting school... While they are both incredibly excited, for our family, it means that they are no longer our little "babies". So before Christmas, I took them down to the beach to snap some images of them before they get too big! I know I may be biased, but they really are the most adorable little girls you've ever seen....

Twin sisters. Best friends.

married: Kimberly + Chris -- 18 December 2010

Kimberly + Chris were married on Saturday, 18 December at the Tally-Ho Lodge, Inglewood. They were my very last wedding for 2010, and honestly, I could not have asked for a more beautiful couple to finish the year on. I had met with Kimberly + Chris a couple of times before and had enjoyed taking some engagement portraits for them earlier in the year, so I knew that their day was going to be a very special one at that. And I was not disappointed! Kimberly was still every bit as sweet as I knew she was, and Chris... well Chris... he was much cheekier than I had remembered! I still think that their love story is one of the best I have heard... They met in high school when Kimberly's date hadn't turned up to take her to the school formal... so one of Kimberly's friends organised a "fill-in" date...Chris... and as they say, the rest is history.

Over at Kimberly's, the girls were very organised. And thankfully they had some champagne on hand to calm poor little Kimberly's nerves!

It's all fun and games until the bride stabs the groom in his head with her parasol!

Following the formal part of the evening, Kimberly + Chris made their way to the dance floor where they danced up a storm, much to the delight of their friends and family.

Kimberly + Chris, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day! It was fabulous!

married: Mandy + Greg -- 18 December 2010

I was delighted to be invited to photograph the wedding of Mandy + Greg last Saturday morning. Normally I wouldn't squeeze two weddings into one day, but with being a friend of Mandy's family, there was no way I wanted to miss photographing such a special moment for them!! Mandy + Greg were married before an intimate gathering of their closest family and friends, under the walnut tree in the apple orchard of their beautiful home in the Adelaide Hills. The day was made extra special as it was also the naming ceremony of their gorgeous little daughter, Lila.

I loved being a part of their morning, and am happy to share some of their photos with you!

married: Jennifer + Robert -- 4 December 2010

There is so much I love about photography, and I find it such a privilege each and every time I am invited to photograph a wedding. I enjoy being able to observe the emotions of the day... happiness, laughter, and quite often, tears. One such wedding was Jenny + Robert's. It was truly beautiful to witness such a gorgeous couple, who are so obviously in love with each other, become husband and wife. Jenny + Robert, along with the fantastic bridal party, were beyond wonderful, and I loved every part of their day from beginning to end. I will let the photos tell the story...

Hmm... don't suppose anyone knows how to tie a tie??

All six men spent the night in this little caravan cabin! A night I'm sure they'll never forget.

Jenny was very relaxed when I arrived.

The boys arrive at the ceremony.

Robert didn't appear nervous, until I noticed how tight he was squeezing his hands!

Robert is a sweetheart. So romantic and thoughtful to his beautiful bride. I was captivated by the way he would look at Jenny... such love in his eyes.

Jenny assured everyone that she wouldn't cry...

... Robert, however, was a different story.

But then Jenny cried too.

Robert + Jenny's little boy, Jaxon, was the ring bearer.

Thumbs up for a job well done.

What a fabulous looking bunch.

While we were wandering around, we saw this horse, that could only be described as magnificent.

She came down to say hello.

Was all fun and games until she tried to eat the flowers in Jenny's hair!

The evening was complete with the fabulous and fun Snapshot Studio!

married: Linda + Anthony -- 27 November 2010

Linda + Anthony tied the knot on one of those funny wintery-type days at the end of November. Even though it rained a little throughout their ceremony, it didn't matter... they are in love and were getting married and that's all that did matter. Theirs was a beautiful wedding, held in its entirety at Serafino in McLaren Vale. What a gorgeous spot! It really was wonderful to spend the day with them. Linda + Anthony are a wonderful couple and I'm so pleased to share some of my favourite images from their day with you...

Ever since I met high school sweethearts, Megan + Tristan, I knew their wedding was going to be alot of fun! Megan is super cool, such an easy-going person, which made for a perfectly easy-going bride! And Tristan... well Tristan is one of the sweetest guys you could ever meet... one of those guys that you would be happy for your daughter to marry, because you know that he would do whatever it takes to look after her and would love her forever. These two are as dedicated to each other as they come. Complete soulmates...Enjoy the show!

married: Laura + Brett -- 20 November 2010

Laura + Brett celebrated their wedding on the golden sands of the beach at South Port Noarlunga on a sunny blue sky day in November. It was such a beautiful, natural and romantic wedding setting. The colourful clay and limestone cliffs towered nearby, and the water lapped up onto the shore as they exchanged their vows. What a stunning location it was!

Brett was very calm when I arrived. We wandered down to the beach so that he could take a moment to reflect on what the day would hold.

Everything was in full swing over at Laura's. The girls all looked gorgeous!

Laura has such a great smile! She smiled, laughed and cried all day!

The ceremony was beautiful.

At the end of the ceremony, Laura + Brett walked down to the foreshore with their guests, where they all threw shells into the ocean as a sign of sending off good wishes for their lives together.

Then it was time for some romantic portraits to be taken of the newlyweds.

Laura + Brett's reception was held at the Christie's Beach Surf club. The perfect location for a beach wedding!

Brett made a very touching speech about Laura...

I can't even begin to explain how it felt to photograph the wedding of Cecily + Blake. I knew from the moment I met them that theirs would be a wedding to remember, and that it was. I loved it. The entire day was perfection, from beginning to end.

Cecily + Blake are the types of people that you just fall in love with. They are both smart, loving, generous, beautiful souls and best of all they know how to have fun. They enjoy life and embrace it with all they have. It was such an honour to not only photograph their wedding, but to spend the day with them, getting to know two fabulous people.

I would also like to make a special mention that their family and friends, particularly the bridal party, were all amazing. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and such a joy to be around. Thank you!

I can't believe that it will soon be Christmas!! It feels like only yesterday that I was photographing the lovely wedding of Erin + Damian, who I must say, were possibly the most relaxed couple I've had the pleasure of photographing! What started out to be quite a rainy morning, the sun popped its head out just in time for the ceremony and to get some beautiful shots of the two of them as they celebrated their marriage! Fabulous! married: Vanessa + Nick -- 30 October 2010

Vanessa + Nick were married on a beautiful day (although a little rainy!) in October at the Adelaide Botanical Gardens, followed by a fantastic celebration at the National Wine Centre. Although it sprinkled a little throughout the ceremony, this did not stop this fabulous couple from tying the knot! The rain nicely held off long enough for us to take some exceptionally beautiful photos following their ceremony... I've included a couple of my favourites below! Enjoy!

I loved photographing the gorgeous wedding of Zoe + Scott on their beautiful, but rather chilly, wedding day. Their wedding was held at the stunning Richmond Grove Winery in the Barossa Valley and it was full of lots of laughter and happy tears. Lovebirds, Jess + Tom, were married on a Sunday afternoon at Ayers House and were blessed with absolutely perfect weather, for their perfect wedding. They were both so relaxed on the day, and were very enthusiastic about their photos, which is my favourite kind of couple!! I'm delighted to share some of their wedding day moments with you.

Well where do I start with Kaylene + Ben? I felt like I'd gotten to know them both so well before their wedding, so when their day finally came around I was extremely excited to spend it with them! And they were fabulous, just as I knew they would be, and so was their wedding. They were married on their beautiful property in the Barossa Valley and the weather was to die for! Here's the story of their day... enjoy!

I started at Kaylene + Ben's home where the boys were all getting ready. I just loved their country kitchen!

Amanda + Andrew were married on Sunday, 3 October 2010 in the most amazing ceremony on the bank of the River Torrens, followed by a fabulous reception at the Next Generation function suite. Having previously photographed Amanda's twin sister's wedding (Belinda and Tim), I knew that I was in for a great day with both Amanda + Andrew. They are two of the nicest people on the planet and their wedding was one of my all time favorites!

married: Lauren + Brant -- 1 October 2010

Well, where do I start with Lauren and Brant's wedding...everything was so gorgeous... Married on Friday at the beautiful Glen Ewin Estate, Lauren and Brant opted to see each other before the ceremony and take some photos around the city before heading up to their stunning ceremony. I really can't put into words how beautiful everything was and how special I felt to be a part of their day.

Their reception was brilliant, so full of emotion and fun. It was easy to see how close Lauren and Brant are to their families and a couple of times I had tears in my eyes watching and listening to their speeches. So special.

At the end of the evening I set up my Snapshot Studio for them and it was a huge hit with all their guests! It deserves a blog post all of it's own, so I will do that shortly. But for now, please enjoy the fairytale that was Lauren and Brant's wedding...

This part was very special... Lauren went against tradition that evening and didn't toss her bridal bouquet. Instead she gave it to her beautiful grandmother as a thank you for all that she has done for Lauren. Very special moment.

Thank you Lauren and Brant for the most wonderful day. I wish you all the luck in the world for your move to Denmark, and for your married life together!

Three magical weddings ... three beautiful days!!

What a spectacular weekend I have had - photographing three of the most magical weddings you could imagine! Each wedding was unique in it's own right and they were all absolutely beautiful.

I will blog each wedding separately very soon, but because I can't help myself, here is a sneaky peak of one of my favourite images from each wedding...

First was Lauren + Brant... married on Friday at the beautiful Glen Ewin Estate. The most splendid couple!

Then came the most fun loving couple you could ever meet... Nicole and Allan, married on Saturday... they did not stop smiling all day!

And finally...Sunday, the incredibly gorgeous Amanda and dapper Andy. The perfect match!

married: Hayley + Alun -- 18 September 2010

Hayley and Alun's Saturday wedding officially kicked off "wedding season" for me, and I could not have asked for a more fabulous wedding to photograph! I had the lovely Michelle Hart (Michelle Hart Photography) assisting me on the day, and we were immediately welcomed into each family and felt right at home as we documented the day. Hayley and Alun were married at the Sunnybrae Function Centre, and their day was beautiful, their love enchanting, and I adored their up-for-anything spirit! Once married, we made a quick drive into the city and crossed our fingers and toes that the rain would stay away. We had a very light sprinkling but it soon passed and we were able to have some fun and take some gorgeous images of them both, as well as their stunning (and fun!) bridal party. I am so excited to share this lovely wedding with you!!

I arrived at Alun's to find the shoe polishing well underway.

Alun's dad, Len, was making sure that groomsman, Daniel, was doing a good job!

Now I know that everyone thinks that their pets are cute... but I must admit that when I saw Alun's sister's cat come crawling across the couch to me, it scared the bejeebers out of me! ... Sorry Eliza! ;-)

After photographing the guys, it was time to visit Hayley. I always get so excited to see the wedding dress, and Hayley's was simply stunning.
