married: Hitomi + Jarrad: 15 May 2010

I met Hitomi + Jarrad a few months ago to discuss their wedding plans, and had been looking forward to seeing them again at their beautiful autumn wedding, which was spectacular! Hitomi's mother and sister had flown out from Japan especially for the big day, so there was a lot of excitement in the air!  Jarrad + Hitomi were married in Botanic Park and held their fabulous cocktail reception at the wine centre.  I would like to share a few of my favourite images with you, and especially with Hitomi's dad, who was unable to come out from Japan for the wedding. Enjoy!

Popping the champagne bottle open! Music to a nervous groom's ears!

Hitomi had made some cute little origami pieces for the wedding!

Over at the bride's house, there were giggles all around!

Hitomi looked stunning!

Hitomi with her sister, and their very proud mother.

See you at the ceremony girls!

Beautiful music filled the ceremony location at Botanic Park.

Jarrad beamed as Hitomi walked down the aisle towards him.

First kiss!

Following the ceremony, we wandered through the beautiful Botanical Gardens for some special portraits.

Arriving at the wine centre. I love the entrance walkway!

Before Hitomi + Jarrad  were announced at their reception, Hitomi had a quick hairstyle change, and attached her veil to the back of her dress. She looked even more stunning if that was at all possible!

With the hair and dress changes done, it was time for the reception to start!

The delicious cake...

...and the super cute "Hitomi + Jarrad" cake toppers!

Soon it was time for the Bride and Groom to have their first dance as husband and wife.

And then it was time for the guests to dance the night away!

Hitomi had quietly slipped out to change into her traditional Japanese Kimono. My gosh, I had no idea of the effort that was put into wearing one of these outfits! Layer upon layer!  But what a fabulous result!

Hitomi and Jarrad, I wish you all the very best for your future together. I hope that you have a fabulous honeymoon in Japan and Hawaii!  Hitomi, thank you for teaching me a new Japanese word on the day... kawaii!!  xx
