married: Sara + Matt: Jacobs Creek Estate

Sara + Matt were married on a sublime (& hot!) summer's day in the beautiful David Austin Rose Garden at Jacob's Creek Retreat in the Barossa Valley. Their ceremony was very intimate, surrounded by their immediate family and closest friends, some of whom had travelled all the way from the UK. Sara + Matt are wonderful and their circle of friends and family are amazing. Their simple and elegant day was perfect!

I'm delighted to share some of my favourite photos and moments from this celebration.

Here comes the bride...

Under a sparkling blue sky, the ceremony begins.

There were giggles all around as Sara struggled to get the ring on Matt's finger.

How can you have a wedding in the Barossa without snapping a photo or two of some grapes!

First kiss as husband and wife!

With the formal part of the day over, it was time to celebrate!

Their circle of loved ones were such a joy to be around.

Lovely details.

A photo of the newlyweds following the ceremony.

Sweet Sara smiling at her new husband.

Great rustic spot for a formal family portrait.

The garden had so many beautiful roses that it was too hard to resist photographing some!

Lots of roses meant lots of buzzy bees.

After Jacob's Creek Retreat, we all travelled to Stonewell Cottages in Tanunda for some casual drinks and nibbles.

Preparing to set sail.

So romantic.

After rowing safely to the other side of the lake, it was time for fun!

A romantic moment overlooking their little cottage.

Their friends also enjoyed the lake.

Delicious nibbles.

The happy couple.

Thank you Sara + Matt for choosing me to be a part of your most special day! It was wonderful to spend the day with you both and with your family and friends!  All the best for a wonderful future together!
